- Memorials & Remembrance: Established 28 individual memorials across North Georgia honoring local service members who died in Vietnam, alongside a landmark memorial in Dunwoody honoring all fallen soldiers from the U.S., the Republic of Vietnam, and the six allied nations.

These resources help military veterans turn their experiences into meaningful memoirs. They explain how to focus on important events, lessons, and themes instead of telling an entire life story from beginning to end. Veterans can learn how to organize memories, create an engaging story, and choose between a traditional written memoir or a graphic memoir. The resources also include writing advice, examples, educational tools, and online communities that provide feedback and support. The goal is to help veterans preserve their stories and share them clearly and powerfully.
Using the memoir capability, I (Ken Leebow) created this video and slide deck of my father-in-law. He was a psychologist in the Navy. He established an alcoholic recovery program in Charleston, SC - the first of its kind. Using his obituary and other information that I found, I created this Gemini Notebook file.
